Throughout his career, he has consolidated his experience in industrial architecture, urban design and critical territorial surveys, ensuring that mining operations not only comply with regulations on paper, but are designed from the outset to exceed the requirements of the Environmental Impact Assessment System (SEIA) and SERNAGEOMIN.
Biography
His technical experience includes direct involvement in the topographic surveying and design of critical projects for the Chilean mining industry, providing essential physical validation for regulatory compliance:
Land Management and Aqueducts: He led the digital redesign of strategic routes, including the Puerto Oscuro to Mina Los Pelambres-Pachón aqueduct (180 km) in the IV Region, and the Embalse El Yeso-Laguna Negra aqueduct (24 km) in the Metropolitan Region.
Experience
Complementing his profile, Cristóbal brings invaluable expertise to the firm's ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) compliance area, thanks to his deep specialization in the management and development of revitalization projects. His experience in the critical assessment of heritage buildings began with his outstanding thesis project focused on the revitalization of the former Ebner Brewery in Independencia.
He has collaborated on complex diagnostics and restorations, such as the San Antonio de Padua Church in Putaendo, providing the sensitivity and technical expertise necessary to advise mining companies on regulatory compliance with the National Monuments Council and community integration.
